Growing up on a family farm in Vermont kick-started my passion for design and craftsmanship - each day on the farm pushing me to think both practically and creatively. I decided to apply to architecture school two decades ago because I wanted a job that would combine those skills with the communication skills that I’d acquired as a teacher.

That background has given me the tools to build deep relationships with both clients and tradespeople. As an architect I get to spend my days listening to people’s needs and dreams, envisioning spaces that will facilitate the way they would like to live, and collaborating with builders to get those spaces constructed.
